During Drawing, Color, and Design Theory, the assignment was to create a greeting card for any occasion. The instructor wanted us to use type and color to bring the card and illustration together. I created a card for a significant other. My audience is people looking to buy a card for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, or just because they want a gift for their significant other. This was created on Procreate. I used warm colors to make the audience feel happy and loved. The reason behind the oranges is that in Spanish, there is a saying "mi media naranja", which directly translates to "my half orange", and is used to describe your other half. I used script type to give the card a traditional romantic type.
